Postpone workouts or recalculate the plan

It happens from time to time that you can’t or don’t want to complete a workout as planned. Whether it’s due to the weather, a busy schedule, or simply not feeling up to it. With 2PEAK, that’s not a problem. Why? Because the plan always adjusts to the changed circumstances.

In general, there is no need to postpone a workout. If you can’t train today, 2PEAK automatically adjusts your plan for the upcoming days. The artificial intelligence takes into account factors like your current recovery phase, past training load, and long-term goal. This way, the optimal training load is recalculated individually for you each day.

Postpone a workout

Maybe you enjoy a certain workout so much that you’d rather do it on a different day. In this case, you can easily move your workout using Drag & Drop in the browser version of 2PEAK. For example, you could move today’s workout to tomorrow.

Important to know:

The conditions on two different training days are rarely the same and constantly change. Two workouts almost never have the same value because your recovery and optimal training load adjust dynamically. What you need today often differs from what would be ideal tomorrow.

Factors like your previous training load, current stress level, and planned future load play a critical role. That’s why 2PEAK recalculates the ideal training load for each day. Postponing a workout may seem tempting, but it’s rarely the optimal solution.

How to recalculate your plan

If you’d rather recalculate your training plan instead of postponing a workout, you can easily do so:

In the browser version: Click on “Recalculation” at the top of the page. This option is available from any page in the logged-in area.

In the app: Click on the gear icon in the bottom bar and select the recalculation option under “Settings” (“Recalculate”).
